What is a "Learning Commons"?
A Learning Commons is a modern iteration of a library with all the amenities associated with a traditional library but with the added features of collaborative and production spaces creating an interactive dynamic learning environment.
The Lake Stevens High School Learning Commons strives to empower students and staff as creators and support their endeavor to utilize 21st Century information literacy, critical thinking, collaboration and authentic real-world problem solving while providing a safe and inclusive student centric space.
